Shameka Flynn Founder-CEO

Shameka is the founder and Executive Director of the Stepping Stone Center, a reentry program dedicated to supporting individuals who have served lengthy prison sentences. With over a decade of experience working in corporate America, she brings strong leadership, resilience, and a deep understanding of navigating systems and rebuilding after adversity.

Despite being system-impacted herself, Shameka made a powerful transformation in her own life and is now committed to helping others do the same. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and is an active member of the F.I.R.S.T. (Formerly Incarcerated Students Thriving) Program at El Camino College. A full-time student, business owner, wife, and mother, Shameka is passionate about creating pathways to success for justice-impacted individuals and building a legacy of empowerment and change.

Errol Flynn Founder-CEO

Errol is the founder and Executive Director at the Stepping Stone Center with over two decades of experience as a General Foreman in oil refineries and power plants. System-impacted from a young age, he brings a powerful combination of lived experience, leadership, and hands-on expertise to his role.

Throughout his career, Errol has led diverse teams and worked with individuals from all walks of life, developing a deep understanding of people and a passion for mentorship. He is fully committed to supporting formerly incarcerated and justice-involved individuals, helping them navigate reentry, build new skills, and reclaim their futures.

Kimberly. Andrews President

Kimberly brings over 25 years of management experience and a deep passion for helping others rise beyond their potential. As someone who was system-impacted, she understands the unique challenges justice-involved individuals face—and is dedicated to being a part of their journey toward healing, growth, and success.

With a strong background in leadership and operations, Kimberly is committed to creating supportive, empowering spaces where people can thrive. Her work at the Stepping Stone Center is fueled by her belief that everyone deserves a second chance and the right tools to transform their lives.
