Standing Together: How We Are Helping Victims of the Altadena Wildfire
When disaster strikes, community is everything. In the wake of the devastating Altadena wildfires, we saw families displaced, homes reduced to ashes, and lives upended in an instant. But in the face of loss, we also witnessed something powerful — the strength of people coming together to help one another.
From the very beginning, our team stepped in to be part of that support system. Understanding the urgent needs of those affected, we quickly organized several donation drop-off sites across the area. Our call to the community was simple but heartfelt: help us gather essential items for men, women, teens, and children who had lost so much. And the response? Nothing short of inspiring.
Through your generosity, we collected clothing, toiletries, blankets, shoes, diapers, and countless other necessities that brought comfort and dignity back to those in need. Each donation, no matter how big or small, made a difference — whether it was a warm coat for a child, hygiene kits for displaced families, or fresh socks for those starting over from scratch.
But we knew that help couldn’t stop at collecting items. So, we rolled up our sleeves and volunteered our time, side by side with the victims. We distributed supplies at shelters, helped families sort through donations, and provided a listening ear to those processing unimaginable loss. Our volunteers also offered hands-on support, from setting up temporary living spaces to assisting with cleanup efforts in affected areas.
And our work isn't finished. We are committed to standing with the victims of the Altadena wildfires for the long haul. Recovery is not a one-time event — it’s a process that takes time, patience, and continued care. To this day, we are still supporting families as they rebuild, offering ongoing resources and assistance to help them get back on their feet.
We want to thank every person who donated, volunteered, and spread the word. Your compassion is the reason we are able to continue this important work. Together, we are proving that when a community comes together, hope rises from the ashes.
